March Glam Bag!

So I must say I'm once again disappointed with this months glambag. It seems like they just gave us a bunch of samples that I could have gotten at Macy's. I feel like I want to discontinue getting it but at the same time I'm hoping it will get better... and a part of me is afraid that once I discontinue it, the bag will get better and they won't open subscriptions. They sent out an e-mail saying that they understand that we want more makeup products, so I guess i'll give it another month or two.. okay so on with the products...

This bag is cute and a different material than the bag from feb.. It's thicker and maybe waterproof on the inside (not entirely sure), which is good for the quick trips to the beach. It's green and has springy colored flowers (maybe for St. Pat's Day). I like it, it seems more durable than the last bag.

Just a list of the things included.

This was the first time i've tried something like this. When you first squeeze the tube it feels very hard, like a thick liquid is going to come out... BE WARNED the liquid is thin! It feels a bit like oil, smells like ..umm.. a box. and taste like cheap lipgloss. So far I can't see a difference, but with time maybe there will be.

I've looked this up and it seems like a nice idea but I'm not sure if it will work. There might be enough for two applications, so I'll let you know if I see a difference.

This was a cute gesture. I love that the brush is pink and it comes with a pretty pink case, that can hold all the brushes you need for a quick trip away. I'm glad they gave us this, it's the most useful item in the bag (IMO) and I would have felt extremely ripped off if it wasn't in the bag.  

Lastly, in one of the mini drawstring bags (like the pink one from feb) there is a Dermstore $25 gift card, off of your purchase of $50... Once again, like in feb's bag, I'm not too fond of receiving gift cards to spend money I wasn't planning to spend. I feel like its a nice offer to someone who enjoys these products so if anyone wants it let me know. ... inside the bag is also a Pur-lisse sample of an spf 30 moisturizer .. so looks like I'm all set for the beach lol... and they send a sample of Murad eye lift protector... the packet is so thin I don't think there is anything in it lol but I don't need it since I'm only 21... I hope they stop sending anti-aging stuff like this to young girls who don't need it.

February Glam Bag!

So this is gonna be a quick post about the February glam bag... just my thoughts on the products and stuffss... I think that they were a bit ...lazy? (srry no better words come to mind)... with the products in this bag... the only thing that was valentines day themed was bag itself! and maybe the roll on shimmer(if you got a pinkish color) .. this month was more of a skin-care bag than a makeup bag.. hopefully next month we will get more makeup stuff!

The bag itself--I have no complaints! Its cute and I needed a new makeup bag anyway lol.

This is the only product inside the bag that could have been related to valentines day(and I guess it depends on the color you get) . Its actually not that bad idk why but I thought it was gonna be filled with big chunks of glitter but to my surprise it actually is like a shimmer.. maybe a bit too shimmery for eyeshadow but maybe using it with a primer will help. (swatch down below)

I haven't tried it yet, but its a whiteish-clearish creamish-gelish lol idk it goes on clear and smells like something from proactive... used it on the back on my hand.. doesn't feel like I have anything on.. but I don't really see a difference... guess i'll have to wait until tom morn to try it... i'll let you know how it ends up working out

I've never tried this before...I guess it will be okay .. it only seems like enough for one use.. I wish they would have sent a full sized bottle like they did with last month's bag.. and I don't really like the smell of pineapple so hopefully its not to strong.

This SEEMS like a good offer but its kinda one of those things where you think your getting a deal, but your really not because they're still getting you to spend money on things you never would have brought in the first place (but if you were then it's good that this works out for you).... Most of the things I saw on the website, after the coupon would cost between $15 and $50 (plus shipping and handling).. Haven't decided if I'm gonna use it yet... it expires end of August so..

Umm yeah... this product..... sorry the pic's not too good BUT.... ummm... How many people our age have wrinkles? These baby samples (not at all deluxe size).. may be enough to lightly spread over your face..maybe... one of them is 'instant stretching and revitalizing mask' and the other is the 'biox anti-aging complex intensive age treatment cream'.... literally there is soo little in these you might have to use one thing on one half of your face and the other on the other side lol ... but they also give you a little 50% off if you want to get the cinderella mask...I haven't checked out the prices yet but maybe it's a deal.

Umm yeah ... I guess it was a nice gesture and made the bag seem more full...

Swatches for E.L.F.'s mineral eyeshadows! E.L.F. had a sale spend $25, get 10 free mineral eyeshadows with your order. All of the shadows are pigmented, however the matte shadows were a bit chalky. One thing that you have to beware of is fallout. Also if you store the shadows upside down (to see the color) or put them in your purse, most of the product will fall through the top of the sifter. To help avoid this you can keep the sticker on top of the sifter and use something like a small thin knife or a safety pin to just poke through one of the four sifter holes. These retail for $3 on their website.

First Post

mmmkay... this post is probably the most awkward because its the first one and it seems like I'm just talking/typing to myself for no reason lol... jk ... the main reason I'm starting this is so I can keep a little diary of what happens in my life ... stuff like that... I will also be posting reviews on things I purchase.... so at the end of the year I can determine how much money I waste on things I don't really need lol.
